Great Priceless Christmas presents ideas.

Have you ever had a Christmas present that you thought by yourself "what in the world do I do with that?" or " how fast can I re-gift this?" even "what a waste of money". But the worst one is "they don't know the real me when they bought this gift, and apparently they didn't care."

Deep down humans want to feel heard, understood, connected and feel that they matter. This counts double around Christmastime. The air is filled with high hopes and expectations of a better time. With those expectations comes the busyness of the preparation for the BIG DAY, because everything has to be perfect, right? But then again, how does the perfect Christmas looks like? Is my perfect Christmas the same as from somebody of the next county over? How about the perfect Christmas gift, does that exist?

A perfect Christmas may be hard to deliver, but the perfect Christmas gift is in your reach. To top it off you can get them for under two dollars, you don't have to conquer the busy shopping malls or stand in line forever, and everybody will LOVE the gift. So what are the great cheap gifts?

  • In conversation listen in level 2 or 3(clarified in the last weeks blog) ; this translate that the other person is very important to you, and also it gives the feeling of being heard and that is a step in the right direction of being understood.

  • Truly engage in an conversation; not only reply to what is being said, but listen, stop and then respond. This will form a genuine connection between you and the other person. You may be surprised what you find out.

  • Don't judge anybody or anything; this is may be the most challenging of all but also the most rewarding. This is a present that you give yourself and that is freedom. When you don't judge you let go of attachments and expectations, and that creates freedom. The beauty is, not only freedom for yourself, but at the same time for everybody around you.

  • When you know somebody who has a hard time, spent time and a conversation with this individual. This will circle back to points above, it creates being heard, understanding, and connected and this is spreading the Spirit of Christmas.

  • Buy a coffee for the person behind you in line, you never know the impact that this will have on somebody's day.

The gift of connection may seem a little too obvious and simple. However I challenge you to give these gifts this Christmas, and you will be amazed by the response you will receive. Nothing is more rewarding when you truly connect to another human being; this is priceless.
